When the learning material attracts you, and both the learning material and learning methods are simple enough for you.
Here is a learning method to learn English with SpeaText for example.
First, as for the learning material, choose those which are simple enough for you with only one or two new words. Those with three and more than three new words should be avoided. I choose the first paragraph of a piece of news in yahoo.com everyday. It's mostly one sentence.
Second, read and understand the sentence.
Third, read the sentence faster and faster, till you can not read it any faster.
Fourth, Change "repeat times" to 10 in SpeakText, let SpeakText read aloud the sentence, and you read aloud along with it. Keep reading till you can read as fast as SpeakText, then Change "speak rate" in SpeakText to a higher lever. The speed is the key. Improve your reading speed to the fastest you can. To my experience, I can keep up with Mary(TTS4.0) at speed 31 at most.
Fifth, record your reading speed everyday.
